Objective: Repair deep deterioration of the existing concrete surface and waterproof the water reservoir to provide long-term use.  The tank was built in 1972, and Figures #1 and #2 show the original construction.  The concrete surface has deteriorated to a depth  9-9 mm (1/4”-3/8”), as shown in Figure #3.

The surface was cleaned using high pressure water 34.5 MPa (5,000 psi) and Gem-Plast TC was used to repair delaminations and level the surface.  Repaired surface was again pressure washed, and two coats of Cem-Kote Flex ST were spray applied and brush finished.  The interior of the reservoir after repairs is shown in Figures #4, #5 and #6.
