| Objective: | Waterproofing of concrete water tanks at of Clean (Drinking) water treatment facility. The concrete was first repaired, and surface cleaned using 35 MPa (5,000 psi) pressure water to remove all deteriorated concrete, dust, dirt, efflorescence and other contaminants.Corner coves were formed using Meadowcrete GPS, and Cem-Kote Flex ST reinforced with Reinforcing Fabric HD applied. Drying shrinkage cracks were treated with Cem-Kote Flex ST and Reinforcing FabricHD, as per Guide Specification instructions. Cem-Kote Flex ST coating was spray applied and brushed to prevent pinholes, and to assure a long-term waterproofing performance. |
