APPLICATION
Application Method … To remove graffiti from surfaces treated with GRAFFITI-SHIELD, apply GRAFFITI-SHIELD CLEANER by spraying, rolling, or brushing.
Spraying is preferable, particularly on rough surfaces.
Let GRAFFITI-SHIELD CLEANER act on the graffiti for 10 – 15 minutes and then wash with 14 – 17 MPa (2000 – 2500 psi) pressure water.
On rough surfaces that may “lock in” the graffiti or some graffiti sprays, the removal may not be complete and the procedure may have to be repeated.
After approximately 30 – 40 graffiti removals, the surface will require re-application of GRAFFITI-SHIELD.
Drying Time … GRAFFITI-SHIELD dries to a wet edge in 30 minutes. It dries to the touch in one hour. The product achieves full cure in two days at 20° C.
Clean Up … All tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Dried film can be removed by acetone.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not apply GRAFFITI-SHIELD when air temperature or surface temperature are likely to be lower than 5° C or when rain is imminent. Highly porous surfaces with bug holes and roughness will allow the graffiti materials to “lock” in the surface crevices and make cleaning much more difficult. Some graffiti may remain on rough surfaces, even after cleaning.
